Welcome to my homepage! I'm Ruiqi Yang (杨锐祺), a PhD student of School of Physics and Astronomy (SPA) at the Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU).
My research mainly focuses on the dynamical evolution of circumbinary disks (CBDs). By conducting state-of-the-art numerical simulations with both the smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) code PHANTOM and the grid-based hydrodynamics code ATHENA++, I explore binary-disk misalignment, circumbinary accretion variability, and planet-disk interactions in the circumbinary disks. I am also currently learning radiative transfer codes, including RADMC-3D and MCFOST, aiming to bridge theoretical models with observations and provide meaningful observational predictions and constraints in the future.
